The use of our websites fitbase.de, ergo-scan.com, sit-smart.eu, smart-cushion.com is usually possible without providing any personal data. If you use our contact form, we use the provided data exclusively for the communication you request. The collection and processing of the necessary data for participation in the fitbase online coachings are regulated in a separate data protection agreement. This can be viewed at any time during the registration process and as a registered participant.

Personal data will therefore only be collected if you provide it by yourself. Any processing of your personal data that goes beyond the scope of the statutory permission is only possible on the basis of your explicitly expressed consent.

Specific information about the use of this website

The use of the contents and offers of fitbase is not evaluated per user. It is stored only by the logging of the IP address. This means that fitbase does not create personal user profiles (e.g. by making use of pseudonyms) at any point in time. The matching of your personal data with the data from the access log via the IP address for the purpose of creating a personal user profile is not possible.

If you have received access to a fitbase service from your employer, only selected anonymized and aggregated usage data (e.g. number of exercises, quizzes and e-mails) will be shared with the company. Conclusions on individual persons’ usage behaviour cannot be drawn in any way.

This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo. Matomo uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is made anonymous before it is saved. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website will not be passed on to third parties. At the bottom of this page you have the option to deactivate the matomo cookie.
